April is upon us and there is TONS going on around here!  All kinds of classes, events & charity work.  I know, for a fact, that there is a little bit of something in here for everyone!

Spring has sprung, and brought forth soooo many wonderful things by our Fairbanks artists…

To kick it all off, THIS Friday, April 3rd is First Friday again!  So please make a plan to swing by and see ‘Art For The Earth’ featuring some of our artists who create with recycled/reused/re-loved items.  The band Slim Pickin will be in the house to entertain us as well for the evening, and artist Jen Otey will be providing henna body art. Jen’s body art will be varied in prices depending on how extensive our design is.  🙂

Here is a brief list & dates, please see the class sections for a more complete descriptions OR just give us a call and we can help you that way too.

This month we are trying our best to collect fabric to make blankets for our local Alzheimer’s patients here in town.  We still NEED fabric, various colors & textures, that can go right through the laundry easily.  So if you have the time, please check your fabric stashes and see if you have some you would like to pass on to this event!  April 15th is our first Stitch Out where we would like to get all the squares cut out!
